WPAP: the details

What to expect when accessing a RESET Working Parents Assistance Programme (WPAP) session.

Please read this in full before your kōrero.

1. What is/isn’t WPAP?

WPAP is a confidential support space for working parents. It offers one-on-one kōrero to reflect, reset, and explore strategies that ease the parenting–work juggle.

It is not therapy, counselling or medical advice. Your session will be guided by a qualified RESET facilitator with lived experience.

2. Confidentiality

Everything you share in your session is confidential. No personal or identifying information will ever be shared with your employer.

We may sometimes share general, anonymised themes (never names or stories) with your employer to help improve the programme.

3. Recording and Consent

With your consent, sessions may be voice recorded to support facilitator reflection and quality improvement.

Recordings:

  • Are stored securely for four weeks

  • Are accessible only to the facilitator

  • Are never shared or transcribed without your explicit permission

  • Will only proceed if you consent clearly at the start of the session

You are always welcome to decline.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice where possible. We understand that things change and will do our best to rebook you promptly.

5. Feedback and Evaluation

You may be invited to complete a short, anonymous survey after your session. This is optional but helps us understand what is working and improve what is not.
